Good day and welcome to Crystal Kids Academy. My Name is Mrs Oluchi Obiozor, the director of the school.I’m glad for your interest in our school through this website. May I please give you a brief introduction of this great school.Crystal Kids Academy is an all inclusive school that is interested in the total development of every child including kids with disabilities.We believe that there is no limit to what a child can accomplish at any given age. We therefore incorporate skills development into our pursuit of academic excellence.

Crystal Kids Academy is an all inclusive school that is committed to the total development of every child. We cater for the academic, social, psychological and physical needs of children, including kids with developmental challenges. We believe that there is no limit to what a child can learn at any given age. For this reason, we incorporate skills development in our pursuit of academic excellence. The Crystal Kids Football Club, Crystal Kids Social Club and the Crystal Kids Art Club are avenues through which we discover the hidden talents in every child and help them develop the skills in an atmosphere of joyful acceptance, togetherness, beauty and inspiration. We provide an atmosphere which makes our kids learn for the joy of learning not to impress.
At Crystal Kids Academy, we are driven by the passion to ensure that every child is positioned on the track to greatness. Based on this understanding, we focus on developing individuals who can LEARN and THINK . Ability to THINK leads to problem solving skills. Through our problem Solving teaching approach, we inspire our pupils and students to apply what they learn instead of recalling what they have learnt. For learning to take place and for the mind to think, the atmosphere must be right. Crystal Kids Academy concentrates on making learning more inviting for our students by creating positive atmosphere that allows students to be comfortable, confident and humming with positive energy. We are particularly interested in developing minds ready for learning in a place fit for learning with tools good for learning.
In achieving this, we pay special attention in creating the right physical, psychological and instructional atmosphere under which our children are taught.
Physical Atmosphere: We recognize the fact that children need clean, bright and organized space to strengthen their learning experiences. To provide enough space for learning and outdoor play, we built our school on a 2,000 square meters of land in a location devoid of distractions and noise of city life. Our classrooms are spacious; furniture well arranged, learning materials stored appropriately and the walls decorated with colourful posters which aid our students in understanding.
Emotional atmosphere: We build an emotional connection between our teachers and the students. As a rule, we employ only teachers who are patient, tolerant and focused on helping every student learn. Our teachers are trained to correct every erring student with Love and kind words and also reward every positive attitude with compliments. Our teachers are informed on the background of their students, their interests and emotional state so as to build that emotional connection that will make learning smoother, faster and appreciated. For us, every day is a new day for new discoveries.
Instructional atmosphere: What we use in teaching is as important as what we teach. We make learning interesting and fun for every student by engaging their attention with appropriate illustrations and tools. We use teaching materials that are appropriate to age and the topic of discussion.
AT CKA WE CELEBRATE EXCEPTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN OUR PUPILS
MISS AND MISS CKA 2017
Crystal Kids Academy is a pacesetter in all aspects. We like to be different; we are trendsetters, we create the system for others to emulate.
Our beauty pageant is one of those activities that define our uniqueness. As part of our cultural Day activities, we conducted a beauty pageant where children from different classes competed for the crown. The competition was based on the child’s knowledge of her cultural heritage, knowledge of current affairs and the child’s ability to recall all that he/she was taught in the class.
It was a keenly competed activity. All the contested were fabulous but winners must emerge. The winners had 50 percent reduction in the 3rd term school fees.
The winner of Mr CKA 2017 is Bright Goweh in Grade 5 .He exhibited an outstanding Level of intelligence as well as in-depth understanding of his cultural heritage.
The winner of Miss CKA 2017 is Michelle Dele in Grade 1. She is not only beautiful but also intelligent, smart, eloquent, confident and well vested in her cultural background.
Our Kindergarten (KG) classes are divided into three: Pre-KG, KG 1 and KG 2.

To ensure that our students get all the knowledge they need to seamlessly integrate into the world, we teach them all the academic core subjects like Mathematics, English, Basic Science, Religious Knowledge, Social Studies, Creative Art, physical and Health Education, Home Economics, with special emphasis on digital literacy.

Junior Secondary is a phase of education in state secondary schools for Years 7, 8 and 9, which helps to ensure the bridge between primary and secondary school is safe, strong and consistent for all students.Junior Secondary focuses on age-appropriate education, and support for students’ wellbeing and transitions.
While it will look different in every secondary school, six principles have been developed to underpin Junior Secondary. Under six guiding principles, Junior Secondary will provide challenging educational offerings that engage young adolescents, while giving them a sense of belonging and support through the changes they face.
Junior Secondary students will be encouraged and supported to develop their own group identity within the wider high school. This can involve dedicated school areas and events.
Crystal Kids Academy is a busy and fun place to be. Life in our school is not characterised by academic work alone; We have special events and extracurricular activities designed to nurture our young minds in and outside the classrooms and to mould them into an all round human beings. It was all fun galore as crystal kids Academy pupils matched out in all red attire to celebrate valentine’s day and the birthday of their executive director Oluchi obiozor . The children came into the school compound with so much expectation and celebration for the eventful day . The school in-house DJ was also on ground to play very interesting tones to spice up the day . the Event ended with light refreshments and exchange of gifts by CKA pupils and teachers . The significance of the event is to encourage brotherly love and the spirit of sharing among staff
Every Friday is our talent day. We bring in experts from different creative fields to teach our kids specific skills and give them the opportunity to experiment what they have been taught. This enables us to place the kids in the club that matches their talents where the skills are further developed.
We expand our children’s learning beyond the school compound by exposing them to places that further enhances their understanding of topics and concepts. The specific knowledge we wish to expand will determine the place to visit.

Crystal Kids are brave and courageous children. We love our culture; we are proud of our root; we
embrace our heritage. We do so because our culture is our identity. Culture gives us the true meaning of
life. Culture shapes our thinking and defines our personality. As people with progressive mind set, we strive
to preserve our cultural heritage.
We create opportunities for our students to explore their interests by having THREE clubs. Each student is allowed to be a member of one club but they have the right to switch clubs at any given time.
The clubs are:-Sports Club,Social Club, Creative Art Club
SPORTS CLUB: Our sports club is designed to help children focus on building physical skills, learning about good sportsmanship, understanding game rules and developing social skills.
Crystal Kids Football Club: this is a well structured football club which provides opportunity for kids to improve their speed, their concentration, agility, strength, coordination and overall cardiovascular endurance. The children play football under strict supervision of adults. The football club does not only train players, it also trains referees, goal keepers, coaches etc. there is no limit to what kids can achieve at any age and at Crystal Kids, we do not set limits for our children.
SOCIAL CLUB: this club is for children interested in social activities like acting, dancing, writing, broadcasting, journalism, presentations, poetry, narration, music and musical instruments. This club helps children to think creatively, develop their memory skills, improve their emotional understanding, enhance their communication skills, sharpen their oratory prowess, and motivate them to speak with confidence, authority and conviction.
CREATIVE ART CLUB: This club is for children who love working with their hands like painting, sculpture, beading, drawing, designing, knitting, cooking, engineering etc. Some children naturally have the knack for imaginative thinking. They think out concepts in their heads and interpret it through different art forms. We give room for diverse means of expression and we encourage our children to experiment with their hands. We always insist that there is no limit to what a child can learn at any given age.
